Leak-resistant, not leak-proof. Nothing is leak-proof forever. But we ship replacement taps with every bulk order – they wear out eventually, and you'll have spares on hand.

It seals well enough to keep dust and fruit flies out. It's not an airtight vacuum seal – this isn't a pressure vessel. For buffet and event use, it does what it needs to do.
