Borosilicate glass handles extreme temperature changes – from -20°C to 400°C – without cracking . It costs more, but it's the better choice for containers that go from freezer to microwave or oven. Are the plastic lids BPA-free?
Yes. All plastic lids are made from food-grade PP material and are BPA-free. They're also dishwasher-safe (top rack recommended) and freezer-safe.

Is the lid really leak-proof?
Leak-resistant, not leak-proof. Nothing is leak-proof forever. But the four-side locking tabs and silicone gasket create a tight seal that prevents most leaks during normal use – fridge storage, lunch bags, and short commutes. For long-term liquid storage, we recommend our glass jars with screw-top lids.

Can these containers go in the microwave?
The glass container is microwave-safe. The plastic lid should be removed before microwaving – it's not designed for high heat. The glass container is also dishwasher-safe and freezer-safe.
